Over the years a lot of people have been praying for Kathie. And it has worked as she was able to knock back the cancer more than once. But it always returned.
For a while now her doctor has had to keep trying different treatments as Kathie's body couldn't handle the toxicity of the chemo anymore. Finally, in February, he said there was nothing left to try.
We have Hospice involved now and they are great people. But Kathie is getting sicker by the day. She has good days and bad days, mostly bad, and I don't want to be too far away from her. I got a baby monitor so I can keep an eye on her when I'm not in the same room.
All we have left to hope for is a miracle. But they do happen and I ask that everyone will continue to keep praying.
