I do not understand why folks do the things to vehicles that they do these days, some are good for a laugh, some are even practical, but others cause me to take a back road away from them.

Saw a challenger hellcat with those pimp wheels on it last year in town. Guy should have been shot. by the way the wheels they took off that truck were already to big and the tires to low profile for my tastes by a long shot.

Never understood stuff like that, still drive my 66 F100 with a three on the tree, manual steering and brakes and the AC is rolling down the windows. Seen lots of old iron like my 66 that have been dropped, chopped and slammed and it baffles me why first they would spend all that money on an old pickup to make it into something different and second what makes them think they're going to get all the money they spent when they decide to sell them. Why not just buy a newer pickup or car to hack it up?

I used to have a saying for all the hood rats that brought their ugly jacked up crown Victoria's in trying to get them to steer straight and ride half decent with the big ugly a$$ twenny fo' wheels they put on their formerly luxury cars.(the hood rats say RIMS, but the the correct nomenclature is WHEELS)  when I see one of those ugly contraptions, I always say-  chuck wagon wheels, chuck wagon ride

I kind of like the clear matte over the missing paint look on an old truck.
