Can't recommend much except don't buy a cheap one, if you don't have at least a 45 power one they won't help much and the cheap ones optics just arn't up to that much magnification, I use a winchester brand and at 100yards I can read the print on a 100yrad sight in target. 8)

I have a Burris Landmark 15-45X60 and it works pretty good.

I will say this, make sure you get a good high quality tripod for it.  No matter how much money you spend on a set of optics, it'll still give you headaches if it's not steady.

I spent so much time checking out spotting scopes I gave my self a headache.  After many hours I finally found one that I could afford and gave excellent quality.  Eagle Optics makes a spotting scope known as the Raven.  The specs are 20x60x80 and comes with a soft case and tripod and built in removeable sun shade for $399.99.   I have found this scope to compare to those in the $800.00 to $1000.00 range and asked one of the store managers how it could be so clear and so much cheaper than the competition.  I was told that Eagle Optics was just waiting to get market share and then they would raise the price with the others in its class.  This is a Japanese made scope and has a lifetime warranty.  In addition if you damage it (run it over with your truck etc.) Eagle Optics will give a one time replacement for $20.00.  I suspect they will be getting their market share fairly soon with the quality and warranty they offer.  I have no regrets about this purchase and yesterday compared it with my buddies Bushnell 20x60x60 that cost the same and there was no comparison due to the Bushnell getting fuzzy @ 60X.  http://www.eagleoptics.com/    :D
