Hehehe, who was that psychology dude that came up with that hierachy of needs deal anyway? The deal where when ya get past food and shelter, ya go lookin fer love.

Seems stuff like Zen were way down the list weren't they?

I never gave much thought to the importance of a pair of high topped brown boots in Texas, makes alot of sense now that I do. There's way more than that cowboy stuff huh?

Maybe you outta bring some waders next time. :bye:  :bye:  :toast:
Hey, hold my beer and watch this.

Hi bagger;
The results so far is they went for the strawberry. Cause it was on top of the ground in a deep run I had made with my 4 wheeler in soft mud. The hole me and old Roy broke our backs on diggin hasn`t been found yet by the hogs. The Strawberry pop in a tire rut hole with 50lb`s of corn.
Didn`t see no monsters just some 90-190lb porkers.
  As far as the hole that I dug, One of the guys , I believe it was Ben, had given gave a lot of information on it, and he was right, you have to put some bait on top so the hogs will know its there then they will dig for the rest of the stuff in the hole. However so far they haven`t found the hole cause the deer keep getting to it first. I do have some camer`s on the hole and if I get a picture of them, (the hogs) I`ll try down load them for everyone.
   There is an earlier post on here with the web-site of the hog hunting and proper and way to use the bait.
   Oh by the way, yes I did kill a 190 pounder over the strawberry. Nice and tender.

We'll be scoutin out our hogs this weekend and hopefully locate a frequent area.Our property that we will be hunting is a large section,we've heard they are there from others,but haven't run across them ourselves yet.

Bulletmaker, are you sure it is deer?  Raccoons could be getting it, a lot of people here sprinkle some deisel with the corn which keeps them away and actually attracts the hogs.

Hi Ben :D
  Yeah, some are coon gettting it , I saw the tracks, but saw deer tracks also. There is a great web site, called Texasboars.com that says that the hogs, will not come to diesel corn? They prefer pure corn, that in fact the diesel draws the coon.
   Also old John brought me by some good catfish. But anyhow I got me a camera on the place now so I can see whats going to be coming to the bait.

Bulletmaker, I gave you that link, they're the biggest advocate of using diesel. you might want to take another look there.  John sure has some good catfish, wish I had some cause I'm out.  May have to of all things try to catch some myself

Hi Ben;
  OK, I`ll go back and re-read int again about the corn. And as far as JOhn`s fish he gave me, I`m thawing it out today, cause that`s what I`m going to have for dinner tonight. Um Um.
  Again thanks for the hog site.
