I talked to Ruger about the 32 magnum (please read!)

I called them today, and from the way the person I talked to was talking, they sorta led me to believe that it was a distinct possibility some time in the future.

I told them I was planning on writing up a petition to show them that there "were" shooters out here that want a 32 magnum Single Six with adjustable sights. They said if I did that, Ruger would definately stand up, and take note of it. They talked like that would likely push it into production.

I'm gonna get a petition with at least 100 names on it, and send it to them. I'd suggest that you guys that want an adjustable sighted 32 Single-Six at least give them a call, and let them know you're interested.

Come on fellows! I need that revolver!!!

I had one once upon a long time ago. Seems like it came with either the 5.5" or 6.5" barrel. Wouldn't shoot for beans. Shipped it back and had a 9.5" barrel installed and it still wouldn't hit the broad side of a barn. Tried factory ammo and a bunch of my reloads including those that shot about 1.5" groups at 100 yards in my TC. They were all over the place at 25 yards. The gun was useless to me as it wasn't accurate enough to hit anything it had power enough to kill beyond 5 yards.

If they can't do a better job this time around than they did back when they were making them before it isn't worth spending the money n them. I suspect the problem was cylinder throats not properly matched to bore diameter but really never measured them back then as I had to way to fix it anyway.

I have two with adjustable sights.  One is 4 5/8" and the other is 9 1/2".  Both of mine shoot very well.  I had to change the front sight on the long barreled one to get it to shoot low enough.  I shoot Georgia Arms 100gr JHPs.  I would really like one in stainless with adjustable sights, though.

I have one that I picked up when they first came out.  Factory loads are so-so.  Hand loads will do 1" at 25 yards.  I have taken several rabbits, rock chucks and other vermin.  Always get too excited and end up missing coyotes, but one of these days..........

Well, I'm up to around 75 signatures so far, and now I'm planning on trying to gather up around 300-400 before I send it to Ruger.

I sure wish some of you fellows would give Ruger a call, and help me keep this ball rolling!

I really don't think(by the way they're talking) that it would take much more to get them to bring this fine revolver back out again!

Have a 4 5/8 one from the early days. Does well with my loads. Am installing a brass grip frame as time allows me to work on it.    Along with a pair of stag grips.-- This one shoots fine. Luck of the draw I guess.  :-)

I have one of the old 6 1/2" Bisleys and it's the most accurate of my handguns and a joy to shoot.
