Teetotalers and their Prohibition created organized mafia, well God wannabe church leaders created the witch craft furor of the 15th century.Thank fully God finally put an end to that as using his name to chase zombies I am sure annoyed him greatly
Sadly , God let man's created organized crime run to point of a fool serving his own folly especially when it spread to drugs.

There were still some assorted plagues around back then. The Black Plague was during the 1300s.
