STURGIS BIKE RALLY
« on: August 09, 2020, 02:53:05 AM »
Just a short note here, the Sturgis biker get together has the Democrats worried!

The news just reported that they suspect social distancing and mask usage won't be happening during the event!

This could be VERY BAD, if only to expose the Democrats politicizing of Covid 19, because, when all those bikers

don't cause a spike then the cat is climbing out of the bag. And to further complicate the Democrats position

The local tatoo place has been open since early July, and.......NO SPIKE, even though bussiness this year was

reported on the TV news by the proprietor as better than last year.

I guess the Dems only recourse would be to send in ANTFIA to straighen the whole thing out, which, IMO, will

put an end to political covid propaganda, and Antifa as well!

GO BIKERS GO!!!!
Youthful enthusiasm is replaced by old age and treachery!

We get something similar in October. It's called Oktoberfest, a lot of motorcycles, beer drinking and danceing.

Wife and I went 5 years ago, "Bucket List", had fun, too many people, no desire to ever go again.

Oktoberfest isn't all that bad, the beer is good and the scenery is great!

A lot of bikers have started to attend Oktoberfest celebrations in other states instead of going to
Sturgis for the same reasons you guys posted about.

Went to Sturgis in 2015, hopped to see some cool vintage bikes - but really just a sea of Twin-Cams...

I remember a friend who rode from Washington to Sturgis on an older Sportster - no rubber mounted engine; that's a woman!!!!

Now if anyone would ride a hardtail that far I would bow down...

The year I went it rained almost every day. The campground I stayed in had a big long puddle at the entrance. Guys were lined up on both sides, if you got stuck on a Harley they’d just push you out, if you were on anything else you had to endure a bunch of teasing first.

That gives new meaning to the term "Iron Butt".  Even the "Iron Butt Rally" riders don't ride hardtails...

yup he was a real hard core biker. He looked like one of the zz top guys but was the kindest guy you could ever meet. At one time when we still worked he had 6 Harleys. I was but a wanabe when he was around. Guess to be honest that's what I was. Most I ever put on one in a year up here was about 8k. Most years was around 3k. I guess fast cars, 4x4s and guns always did more for me then Harleys. To be honest I don't even miss them.
