This Confederate Memorial was erected on April 2 1893, and is nuthin more than a memorial to the thousands of Texans who fought and died in the Civil war. The corner stone was quarried from Stone Mountain Georgia, and over 20,000 came to its dedication. It was a very big deal in 1893.
Now pukes from another part of the country want to destroy it.
I've been looking at that Memorial for over 70 years.
This one, like the one in Gainesville, may not go easy.
