Each election season the democrats pull what they themselves call an "October surprise".
It usually takes the form of an outrageous lie, focusing on morals, and published within 1 or 2 days before the election date, too late to effectively counter.
I noticed that FB says they will not take any ads during the last couple weeks running up to the election. Could that be to prevent an effective reply?
