I'm starting to see a lot of people these days that have that. Mostly in the bigger cities.
They look like this.

It's as if they're all used up. On a short fuse.

  We have one woman in this town, who has that very stare. Pass her on the sidewalk, between her home and the local store...and all you get is that "thousand yard stare".
 No Hi, Hello or any other words..just that stare...
  Now, in the big city one may expect that, since it appears to be a defensive method.  But around here, if when met on the sidewalk, one doesn't offer pleasantries, they are considered "odd"!

  However, I understand her brain was curdled by "funny smoke" years ago.

  Now, some people sadly, have honestly earned that thousand yard stare.

Many with that stare will neither be seen nor heard.  There will be a woosh, a twhack, a "red mist", a suppressed rifle report from far away, and chaos in close proximity as another one bites the dust.  This mystery will repeat itself until Marxism/Socialism/Communism is put down in America.
