It seems as I get older this is less of a problem for me. Maybe I'm seeing things more clearly or perhaps not. I was watching a PBS show, Nova I think but maybe not, anyway it was about how plate tectonics formed on the early earth and as I watched it I found that nothing said conflicted with Genesis. To me Genesis said the same things but in less words and more poetically.
