...But  Argent; when you have a C-in-C like Barack Hussein, the forces have little choice.  Yes, the Air Force, of all five branches, may have been the more agreeable with that  notion, and the Army and Marines held out as long as they could..but the OBiden administration forced the issue!

I still say their drill team is cool !

I'm in a mood this morning - for debate - and taking us far afield from Happy Birthday to the Air Force!

What difference does an individual's "sexual preference" (LGBTQ) have to do with providing for the common defense?  If a person's "differences" do not get in the way of performing their duties ==> Don't Ask - Don't Tell.  They've been "operating from the closet" for centuries.

I knew of an openly gay man in the service, circa '75.  He did his job and he did it well.  We ignored his preference and he didn't push it on anyone.

"Gay" people are an awakening for 20-somethings - or WAS.  I must have had a sheltered Florida childhood.  I never noticed ANY "gay" person until I went to California as a 20 y.o.

I suspect there are many indignant and intolerant "straight" people that are triggered.  I know that my wife, as a Classically trained Accompanist and Music Professional, teaches and coaches Opera to MANY 20-something gays at college.  I get indignant today when I see it displayed on TV or in the movies.  I don't want to see it.  I want to ignore it.

Giving LGBTQ any "out of the closet" exposure encourages every other form of depravity and exponentially heightens the divide with straight people.  If it wasn't for "gays" there would not even be a term "straight" except for some who would STILL "go forward" rather than "straight", as that term was originally clichéd.

OK.  Rant over.

OK Landowner I will engage, but in a milder way than you may expect. If a "gay" individual can serve without broadcasting his/her mental glitch, they may get away with it.  Keep in mind however, the military is not like civilian life.  Bathrooms and duty situations are not comparable to the civilian situation.

However, we should keep in mind that if one is openly 'gay', that is for sexual reasons, ...the opposite sex, it may make normal people uncomfortable, having to for instance, to shower with with a person of the opposite sex.

Imagine your daughter if you have one, or anybody else's daughter, having to accept a man in the shower with her!  No reason a normal person should be discomforted for the sake of another with a confused identity.  The on post accomodations may not be the same now, but in the field, things are more open.

As a Bible oriented Christian, I know that homosexuality is immoral to the point that without repentance, one is lost.  I don't hate a homosexual , but I would like to be able to talk to them and convince them of their error before it is too late.

With all that LGBTQ, there is much confusion, so much that it seems it will soon be LGBTQRDFUINGS.. once the 30 or 40 different perversions gain acceptance. Obama screwed that up !

The major problem with the whole scene with the military is this..the transexual ones !
I would not have been allowed to serve in the Army, were I to have a list of prescriptions such as I have now, at my age.  I had a physical rating of A-1-1-1-1-1-1, which is called a "picket fence".

I understand that many of the transgenders have a list of prescriptions and procedures with which they must comply. The Army & Marines in particular, can't be bothered with hundreds of people in the field who are in need a whole range of prescriptions... to be delivered to troops involved in combat.

..And to think that anyone should come into the military, just to seek transgender surgery, would simply be larceny of the taxpayers.  Truthfully, any body who tries to enlist in the military, just to get 'peter deleter' surgery, should be rejected.

Two notes:
A homosexual can serve in the military just fine if he does not proclaim/strut his sex life, and just does his job, while serving; transvestites and such are who want to be foo-foos while serving are an insult to the service they are in and are not in to serve our country but their own assininity .

Having said that, with new homosexual neighbors in my home town; one dude is just a dude, the other one one who has expression quirks and walks like a girl, some times, has emotional problems, as in the few months they have lived there, the normal looking dude had to file a missing person thing with the police when his partner suddenly was gone. (Plus he is a lying he/bitch I have found. The kind of non-homo. person one would call a two-faced sob.)
I spoke to the normal looking dude on a matter with his partner, and while he is usually quite quiet, he got in his other half's face on that instantly.

Now to show how brain dead one can get, it was not until a few years ago, on a British Aeroplane forum that I found out that the Air Force during WW II was not the Army Air Corp. which I thought it was called until the Air Force was formed. :o
That shows how one can get an idea in his head and not doubt it even though there is plenty to show it is wrong. 8)
