You should be able to delete your own posts and even a thread starting post so long as no one else has posted to it. There is a REMOVE with a red X to the upper right of the screen. Click that and post goes away. Of course now that I've answered you I'll have to delete this as you'll no longer be able to.

Let me know if you don't see the REMOVE with red X.

Must be an Admin "thing" Bill.  I don't moderate this forum (if that has anything to do with anything) and I don't have a red "X" either.

I can "Modify" my post, in which case, I can ask an Admin or the Forum Mod to delete it.

I'll try to remember to ask Matt about it next time we talk. I thought we used to all be able to delete our own posts. Of course as admin I see all the admin/moderator options all the time and sometimes just assume others can see things they might not can.

Try again now. I think I made the change but won't be certain until someone not a moderator or admin tells me.

We have a bunch of different groups of members and I might need to make changes to each group.

I just went thru and I believe I gave all members permission to delete and modify their own posts. I still don't think you can delete a post that begins a thread if there are other posts to it tho.

Richard, I just realized you weren't listed as a super moderator over here. I guess that came after we sold the site so I added you to the super moderator category. You should now be able to  moderate all forums.
