The Trump-Biden Debate
« on: September 29, 2020, 03:19:24 PM »
So far "frustration" is the best description.

Chris is in the Democratic tank, and Trump is overly aggressive, and obviously pissed.

Jerry Springer is now moderating the debate.

Joe is winning with his help.

And smoke is coming out of Trump's ears.

Trump also made a good point on his reasoning for automobile cafe standards.  He makes some good points if he could just quit going all Jerry Springer.

Also ........... Joe never answered the question about packing the court.  Denied supporting the Green New Deal then a few questions later started talking about the Green New Deal before he realized what he said.

Trump walked onto the stage like stepping into the ring.  Good thing too; so many of those "questions" were heavily front loaded...

Yeah, Wallace proved beyond a shadow of a doubt what he is.

I hope we will see a "better side" of President Trump in the future, but after 3.5 years of Media and Demoncrap bullying, I can respect his pent up anger and calling out the lies as they were told.  This won't be the narrative of the Left of course.

Who gave Biden the title of "Vice President" as if he was still in that office?  BS flag on the field in that.  He is a FORMER.
Our VP is MICHAEL RICHARD PENCE.

I don't think anything about that "debate" was very professional, or informative, thanks to the way Chris Wallace sabotaged anything meaningful resulting from it at all. Had Wallace "fact checked" Biden to the extent he did Trump, Biden would have been shown as a liar and idiot....maybe so anyway....

Last nights results:
Democrats sent in a pinch hitter to back up the obviously inferior presidential hopeful, making it a two against one p**sing match that changed nobodies mind on who to vote for no matter what they believed tuning in.

Maybe you guys watched a different debate than I did. What I saw was some really good comic relief, I was laughing the whole time.

Maybe if I'd had a bottle of Jim Beam sitting beside me I'd a caught the humor. It actually got on my nerves.

Maybe your expectations were just set too high, mine weren't. I was expecting it to be a charlie foxtrot and it was.

I also watched the shows that followed it on FOX to hear the comments from them. They really highlighted Biden's weaknesses and foul ups and there were plenty. Sure Trump would have been better off to have charged a little less hard and said a bit less but then that's always the case with him.

I suspect Biden hurt himself with the far left side of his party. AOC has to be fuming today, he said HE was the Dumocrap party. Clearly she thinks she is and I think Bernie also thinks he is. Trump forced him a few times to deny them and that has got to make them wonder about Biden.

Biden is the same idiot he has always been and always will be. Trump is the same attack dog he has been since getting into politics.

Trump lost none of his base even tho he likely picked up no new undecided voters but Biden not only picked up no new undecided voters he had to have lost some of his far left base support.

Win Trump.

Good points, and I agree, but the lack of an organized debate to me was a waste of time. 90 minutes of my life I can't get back.

What was supposed to be the most interesting debate in history, came off to me as, a free for all.

I didn't intend to waste one minute of my time on the debate but my wife wanted to watch it so guess what, WE watched it. I'm with Graybeard, total CF, three clowns turned loose for 90 minutes. It was amusing as I expected nothing to come from it and my expectations were fulfilled. As soon as it was over we went to Apple+ and watched two episodes of their new series "Tehran" which proved much more interesting than the previous clown parade. There is no choice to be made in both my wife's and my choice of who we vote for. If it wears the democrat tag it gets no consideration in this household. The same holds true for our kids and grandkids. We raised them to know BS when they hear it.

Never been a hard liquor drinker.....ever, but should they be foolish enough to bring on a second "debate", I'll be sure to follow Dee's advice and take that oppurtunity to have a bottle of Jim Bean at the ready!

And, yes, Graybeard, my expectations won't be as high as they were for the first one.....then again, did anyone ever think of Biden as anything other than a senile clown? He isn't for the "New green deal", he's for the "Bidens' new deal".....REALLY?  Bugs Bunny described him best...."What a morooon!"

One doesn't "drink" Jim Beam bourbon. One slowly "sips" it.
