300s are an odd car. I remember when i first saw one i thought it  was the ugliest thing on the road. A couple years later i saw a dechromed srt 300 and thought "thats a bad ass looking car" Well about 6 months ago my son in law picked one up. He buys banged up cars and cars that need motor work. Fixes them and turns them over for a side job. He picked up a nice black 300 that the front nose cone was smashed. Its a 5.7 car not an srt but he made it look just like an srt. Turned out real nice and he says hes going to keep it (buy ive heard that before) He borrowed my pickup to go down state last week and left the 300 here. I figured id take it for a ride and see what i thought. Well it impressed me! Road every bit as good as the caddy he fixed up last. Had much more power and sounded great. I could see a 4x4 v8 version for someone up north that can only afford one car. It would be great in the snow and ride great and still have enough power to make it exciting to drive. What they basicaly are are chargers with different sheet metal and upgraded interiors. Would i buy one? Nope. I dont need one. I allready have a 4x4 truck and a jeep for the winter and a car for a toy in the summer. But now when i drive down the road and see one i actually look unlike i would for an impala or tarrus.

Bought a brand new Chrysler 300 Limited in 2005. Paid cash. Wouldn't start the next morning.
Was in the shop 7 more times for the same undiscovered issue into 2007.
They gave me a generous check for the car, and I foolishly picked out a 2007 Chrysler 300 Limited.
36 months into that one it was drinking oil several quarts at a time.

Changed over to Honda for linda, but i do like my new dodge pickup.
