I liked him in Medicine Man and The Rock.  But I grew bored of the 007 movies years ago.

He was one of my favorite actors. RIP.

The 007 movies were fun movies, not to be taken seriously, and I enjoyed them with Connery as 007.

I think his best role was as Henry Jones Sr. in The Last Crusade. He was absolutely great in that part and it was the last good Indiana Jones movie...

He was the best bond IMO
Got to snuggle up to some really
tasty ladies
Made a good Jones sr. as posted,
and a good Juan Ramirez.
Always liked his line about bringing
a knife to a gunfight
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

He was really good in the first Highlander movie.  The rest of them were so stupid I wonder how much cash they gave him to be in such stinkers.

He so reminded me of my Father.  They were look alikes...though my father was a generation ahead of Sean.

I ran across an interview on YouTube this morning of Sean Connery by Barbara Walters where she asked him about his slapping women with an open hand.

He stated that he felt it was okay for a man to slap a woman.

Richard, I'm thinking you dad likely didn't slap your mother around.

There have been, and still are, folks that are good at "PRETENDING" to be someone, and something they are not.

A man that thinks it's okay to hit a woman, is still a pos at my house. Regardless of any other skill he might have.

My father went to his grave supporting my mother and being a man in the way in which the U. S. Navy (he was a WW2 Lt. JG and the Skipper in charge of a Mine Sweeper in the Pacific) and his father before them taught him, through responsible hard work, dedication to wife and family, and faith in God.

I did not see my mother and father argue nor ever a hand raised in anger.  That would have been the end of it.  My Mom would not have tolerated an abusive relationship.  She was TOTALLY IN CHARGE of the household - and the disciplinarian to us as kids.

Dad worked long hours and a lot of overtime in the 50's through 80's to provide a good home and college for four kids.  Dad DID look a whole heap like Sean Connery in his face, beard, and eyes, but not the British accent.
