JMO
I don't think 2 years is enough.
If you take a life while drunk or
high or otherwise chemically
impaired, you should stand a
death penalty trial and stand a
fair chance of losing your life.
If you permanently maim someone
in the same scenario, you should
face life imprisonment without
parole at least for condemning
an innocent person to a life of
pain and suffering.
I've yet to ever hear a valid or
sensible excuse for driving
while chemically impaired because
there isn't one. Anyone who
tries to put any logic to it
doesn't have any sense
