Gun prices sure have gone up a lot.

A Cimarron SAA now 850? A gun that cost less than 500 three months ago. And ammo, if they even have it, wow.

Is that 'Supply and Demand'  or  Greed and Gauging?

Aren't the two basically the same?

I've always thought so...

It was a nice looking revolver, if it had been the old price I would have bought it. Colt Python, 1600?

Realistically, every member here
should have already had a supply

Just be sure to remember who the gougers were, once things settle down again !

Everything has gone up.  Have you been grocery shopping lately.  Once again cheap gas is holding the economy together.

Are you sure you didn't accidentally lose
all your guns and related accoutrements
way out in that sand and rocks somewhere?
I bet if you were to check real thorough
like, you'd find that you don't have any of
those evil nasty scary guns like you thought
you did. And you're probably like me in that
you can't remember just exactly where you
lost them at

I still remember who a few of the
people were that lined up here at
academy every morning waiting for
them to open so they could get their
.22 long rifle that they were allotted,
then turn around and sell it on fleabay
and dregslist

You may not get what you want,
But you always get what you've
got coming

Maybe related, maybe not but I checked on some firearms I am always interested in for prices , if not buying, on Gunbroker and the pages were nearly as bare as toilet paper shelves in March.

I can see it for pistols and revolvers but some thing as common as Remington 870 shotguns is very odd BUT the prices for even common used shotguns has gone up an extreme starting a few years back already.

Holdingit together, until Biden/Harris halt oil exploration and fracking!   ... But then somebody will be happy..for instance, Russia and Obama's old pals, the Iranian mullahs !
Those mullahs are in bad need for some cash, so they can carry on with their world wide campaign of terror.  Shucks, we haven't been hit really bad, since 2001 !

Retail pricing locally may have gone sky high for new guns.  Try getting anything close to what you paid "back when" for your "used" gun, regardless of its "perfect" condition, and you immediately run into the Flea Market and Used Car buyer mentality that wastes your time and aggravates you with regard to the "human condition" of the idiots that approach you. Sheesh...they have no clue with regard to value and always want something for nothing.  The General Public has been "trained" that retail pricing is non-negotiable, but everything else is what the market will bear.  Waiting for the right purchaser to come along is the stuff of fortitude and resolve that too many are willing to throw away - just to get it over with.  I am not one of the latter.  Keep walking.  Don't waste my time.

When Clinton got elected, I doubled my mo on an AR15.  After Bush got elected I bought two more.
When Obama got elected, I more than doubled money on both.
It ebs and flows. Ammo is priced crazy, so I'll make do with what little I have. I don't hunt much anymore anyway.
