More wasted money from a NM agency
« on: November 19, 2020, 06:01:28 AM »
I just read through this quarter's issue of New Mexico Wildlife put out by the NM Fish and Game Commission. The commission is staring a project to restore the state's playa lakes which are found along the southeastern corner of the state where the south plains lie. Got a little news for them despite their college degrees. Save the money. Lack of rain is the reason they are dry and when Mother Nature decides to give us rain again they will restore them selves. No rain, no playa. Simple as that and man can't change it. They are just filled in sinkholes that collect runoff rain naturally. Without rain they are only dry low spots on the prairie.

The state covid cops shut down our Albertsons last night. To many people in the store. It's open again today but they take your temperature before you can enter.

Bottomless lakes are full.

They aren’t on the south plains.

On another note our Albertson’s got shut down for two weeks because they said five people contacted COVID at the store. How in the world do yoU determine where someone contacts it when it requires a one to two week incubation period before symptoms appear? It’s just more pseudo-science from wuhan-luhan and her puppets. None of them would recognize a scientific fact if it reared up and bit them on the ass.

Some Walmarts across the state are being closed. Albuquerque and Las Cruces due to covid-19 infections.

Yup, the park is closed, so are all the other state parks. No real explanation why only a public health order.

Temporarily closed

The greenish-blue color created by aquatic plants is what gives the lakes the illusion of great depth. Effective Monday, November 16, 2020, NM State Parks will temporarily shut down for two weeks through November 30th in accordance with the Public Health Order.

Today's paper said your Albertson's was closed too. My wife is seriously POed at her. She shut down the Hobby Lobby stores. Oh, well, it's not that far to Lubbock and Texas seems to have retained some brains about the fight with covid. We could even go to Sam's Club and Walmart plus eat at Rosa's. I can get along just fine without those but eating at Rosa's would be nice.

Our Albertsons on S.Main St. is temporarily closed, the pharmacy is open even for in store pickup. The one on W. 2nd St. is curbside only. But our Walmart is still open for now, last I heard.
