Is this a blue cat. It looks more blue in person than here maybe.

From the picture i would say no....THe blue cats ive seen alive and dead show a distinct gun metal blue color in differant shades depending on cat. You cant miss it if you get a blue cat.... Most times they are in a certain region and unless trapped out in bloodlines they will keep showing up every now and then...

That's a bummer! I still think that it's cool. I trapped this cat in the central hill country of texas. it is almost a baby blue color. the guy i went with had a lot of cats that were more blue than this one. I couldn't beleive how much better his cats look compared to ours. the color and the fur!

Not a blue cat...as was stated they have a definite blue/gun metal grey look to them...I caught 5 blue/grey cats this year....night and day difference in color!!! The area I'm trapping has a very wide variety of cats..in one day I caught one almost black...one blue/grey,one RED,couple nice tan's. QUITE a mixed bag!!
