Most all of the liberals have been banned here now. I think maybe one left who hasn't violated the rules badly enough but I'm tiring of that one.

On the other site I don't own it and have to think of the owner's interests. Just banning folks cuz I don't like them isn't right there. Here I don't care, no money is being made here and Matt owns the place. What's he gonna do fire me?

  Yes, I tend toward not imitating the far left and just shut down those who disagree.  I don't take any special joy in an echo chamber.
  Naturally, i don't know the reason for any being banned, so cannot comment on it.

  In the final analysis though, it is not my website and so my thoughts on it doesn't count.

    I still consider GBO as my #1, and nearly only... continually visited site.

When I came over here, I automatically quit the other site.  The old site, and this one, are the only two sites I've ever been a member of. I ain't much of a joiner.

While doing a search with a search engine, the topic sent me to an old post over at the other site.
I looked around and was amazed at how dead the place is.

I am thinking of copying and pasting, at least in abstract some of my old post there, as some were good topics.
I hope Conan, if he decides to post again, finds this place.

They completely changed they're format to one that isn't very user friendly. And half the time it doesn't even work. Ive tried two different Browsers over there and got the same results each time.

Bob, if those old posts are from prior to March 2014, they are here also. Matt took the database as it was the day we sold the site, reloaded it here and named this place GBO Reloaded.

Nothing posted there since 1 March 2014 is here but everything prior is. Matt even fixed old dead links here that are dead there.

We sold GBO to Tactical Republic, one of our biggest advertisers on March, 1, 2014.

They apparently in turn sold it to Vertical Scope, a Canadian company at some point.

There has been two major software changes there since, the software in use there now is what seems to be running folks off.

Matt owns this site and he and I run it as we did GBO before we sold it using the same software as back then so it looks like the same old site you guys knew and loved.
