I don't know. I haven't checked to see. I miss him but honor his decision to not post. I'm about 99% sure he is one of our old original guys who has posted under several names over the years. If i'm right then he posts until he decides not to then disappears for months or years and then returns with a different name.
We used to be good friends, swapped PMs and e-mails and spoke by phone, he sent me loads of photos of him and the family. Then under that original name he announced he'd not be posting anymore, he even changed the name on the account to keep anyone from finding the old posts under that name,
I called and spoke with him. He wouldn't tell me why and seemed uncomfortable talking with me, I got the impression it was about government oversight there and his new job.
He has been back 2 or 3 times since each time with a new name, I figure when he is ready, he will chose a new name and return. He should be getting ready to retire soon. He is several years younger than me but should be around retirement age soon. I'd enjoy seeing him return with his original user name which was his real first name.
