Just to the SW, the 2 planets are the brightest things I've even seen in the sky, closer every night. Hasn't happened in well over 800 years. Go outside, take a look, You'll love it, we did. CHARLIE.  ;D ;D

We drove to a dark area to see them tonight but they were low on the horizon.
Gonna go earlier tomorrow night.

We don't have to drive anywhere. BIG and bright. First time in over 800 years, what a blessing. CHARLIE.  ;D ;D

Way to cloudy here, I could barely see the moon.

I've been walking out into the front yard for my view and even set up my little telescope for a better look two nights ago. I could see the moons plainly.

You may have mistaken the star for the moon. You can see the outline of the other planet behind it. CHARLIE.  ;D ;D

It isn't bright, not like we were told it would be. A single light now, no bigger than Jupiter ever is.

Yep, pretty much the same as always but it got a lot of reading  to improve ratings for the news services. It was kind of like the blood moon thing.

There are some Hubble images where you can see it better.
