A good friends son got it and was very sick for 2 days but he already has probs with his colon. He is a male nurse and says he's sure it came from the shot. With all that's wrong with me I'd likely die if I got covid. Not sure what to do. Patty, my wife says she will NOT get it when or if it comes available, and not sure if my med card will pay for it. CHARLIE.

The wife and I are holding off for now but it's a decision everyone has to make on their own factoring in their medical history. News reports we have seen say that some medical workers and doctors have refused it for now and are concerned about potential side effects and no long term information/studies on same. A couple of side effects are an allergic reaction or Bells Palsy, both treatable but a concern. Computer models are fine but the human body is a complex thing that models don't always cover.

I had a bad reaction to my regular flu shot so I’m not about to take a covid shot unless someone holds a gun to my head.
Even then I might try to shoot my way out of the office.

Covid 19 is a fake so how can the virus protect you?

Notice that the common cold, flu, pneumonia and bronchitis have all been cancelled? Now everyone has covid. It's all fake.

My daughter had the first shot of the vaccine in December. She said her arm hurt the rest of the day but that was it, no reactions. That being said it's doubtful I'll be getting it.

It's like the covid bugs have eaten all the other respiratory bugs and have taken over. No one is contacting anything but covid now. I'm 100% in the "it's fake" camp.

Out doctor's office called last week asking if we wanted the covid shot. That was a big surprise and we declined. Monday the hospital called with the same question. They must make a lot of money off the shots and not getting a lot of takers to be doing this. Again the answer was no. We aren't really in a hurry to be injected with something developed in about eight months and works in a totally different way than any other vaccine. Who knows what will develop in those that take the shot in a few months or years?

No , But I expect freedom of movement to be restricted on citizens who refuse the shot . Might not get into a grocery store without proof of vaccination .

Some state democrat governors are saying if you dont take the vaccine, your drivers license may be revoked. In order to restrict your movement.

Which governors?

Ours for one, but may, and will are, two different things. She is only trying to get a position in the Biden administration. And she doesn't even live in NM, she lives in Colorado. A lot of state governors do this,they don't want to live in the same filth they created.

Saw my heart dr today and asked him and several staff about the covid shot. All the staff there, as well as hospitol staff got it and other than a sore arm no bad effects except for a sore arm. When it is available to us we will get it. CHARLIE.

I got a letter from the VA today..shots available from Jan 16 to Feb 12, want me to make an appt.. still thinking...

I know more than a dozen people who have had the shot. Not a single issue with any of them.

I had my two shots. No adverse effects.
99% survival rate. I wonder what the figure is for those of us over 70. The risk of severe complications is wildly higher for that age group than the population as a whole. Higher yet for anyone in that age group with a compromised immune system.
How about not dying but having to be hospitalized.....a bed in the hospital does not sound like a fun time to me. The rate of hospitalization for my age group for example is not 1%, not 4% but more than 16%.

Got the first shot, no ill effects. Second one due on the 26th. Moderna. I have always thought this whole thing was way overblown, and pobably wouldn’t have gotten the shot, but my wife insisted.

I had both shots, no sore arms, no other ill effects either. At my age, I figured it may help if hit with the stuff, and I am not concerned with what could happen 20 years down the road.

I don't expect to live to 105, in fact I don't want to !

If I were younger, I may have refused..and the fact that flu, pneumonia and bronchitis are virtually non-existent this year, does give one pause for thought ! The VA, at least where I am, uses the Phizer vaccine.

So far as the younger folks are concerned, they may as well get their immunity the old fashioned, and more natural way.
My grandson has a wife and 4 kids, ranging from 2 years to a senior in high school. He is a corrections officer, and contracted the Covid at work.

The thing has gone through the whole family, with no ill effects, in fact most didn't even notice any symptoms at all.

How have we survived all this time and not came down with Covid or any other bug. Low risk is what we have been told. No different life style, wash our hands like always. An old Doctor once told me why Doctors don't
come down with a bug like thier patents have. Because they wash they're hands frequently, no matter what.

VA called said I could come and get my shot I said no thanks give it to someone who wants it all they said well ok. I know of 2 people who got the virous and took the cattle wormer and were over it in 3 days with no side affects. Doctors cannot give it but here you can buy it in any farm supply store.
