I have at times, mentioned 'my woods'..

  Here is a video of my grandson, enjoying himself in my recreational property.  In this case, he is using the time to do some shooting.  He does videography professionally..note how he passes a tree to blend into a new scene.
    Got his CCW a few weeks ago and at practice...here at shooting at 20 yards.
 
  He does quite a bit of preaching at nursing homes, churches etc...so I tease him, comparing him to Clint Eastwood, where he played that gun slinger/preacher.

  I have to admit..my 3 grandsons can each outshoot me with a pistol..and perhaps with a rifle too.  If so, i am pleased, since that is what I aimed for since they were little shavers !

  Do you mean video or S&W ?  ;)  ;D   The opening scene shows the hunting blind I built 3-4 years ago.

  The creek scene is of course, down over the hill where he is shooting and where my hunting blind sits.  There is a beaver dam & works down there.  if I am not mistaken, a beaver hutch may be seen in the background.

Now that's a beautiful piece of land and river.

And, for me to shoot a group like that, I'd have to be about 2 feet from the target.  ;D  My wife on the other hand.......

That could be Wisconsin without a doubt. The bluffs in the back ground make it look like Sauk county. I always forget New York would be beautiful if it weren't for new york. How far from the city is your land?

  Yep! I know, but when you are young, you consider yourself 'indestructable' !  Now days, I wish I had listened more carefully...then I wouldn't have to listen so closely now.  ;)  ;D
  Actually, hard to believe, but when I went through the Army training in the mid 1950s..we were not issued ear protection...  not for rifle, handgun, machine gun, hand grenades, rifle grenades..or even for my tank training.

  Well, I am about as far as one can get from NY City, and still be in the same state.  The people in both instances are that different also.  I checked with Google maps... I am 363 miles from Manhattan, 329 miles from Columbus O., and 303 miles from Wheeling, WV..  ...And folks around here are much more like the folks in Ohio or West Virginia... than those "furriners' in NYC !

   The area where I live is called "The Enchanted Mountains"... probably a term invented in some small town chamber of commerce ;D   The background photo in the brochure, is what my woods looks like in the spring and summer.....But here it is..
