I don't know what God thinks about ole Joe and his swearing an oath with his hand on a Bible cause He ain't said. Fact is, I don't know what God thinks about "anybody" swearing with their hand on a Bible. God ain't to my knowledge, ever discussed swearing on a Bible with anybody.
But I figure He and Joe will work it out between themselves, if theres a problem.

Lot a folks "assume" they know what God thinks about things like this, and we all have broke that word down.

I don’t know what they mean by it, but it sounds awful.
