ultralight barrel vs. bull barrel
« on: March 03, 2004, 05:39:41 AM »
I have a .233 ultralight that can't keep a good group no matter what I do. I am thinking of retiring the useless pipe for a .233 ultra barrel which is a bull barrel and longer. Are people getting better accuracy with the ultra bull barrels in .223 ?? thanks

Missed shot, I have a bull barrel .223 and get good accuracy from it. Others here are getting good accuracy from the standard weight barrels. I have heard of some less than great accuracy from the ultralight weight barrels. Perhaps just fiddle with it a bit more, try different loads, forearm pressure etc. If all fails then get another barrel of either standard or bull barrel dimensions...They do shoot!!!....<><....
