Hog Medicine

I have a 444 Marlin that I plan on using for wild boar hunting. My question is what ammo do you think would work better Remington 240 gr. or Hornady 265 gr. I've never hunted boar before. My friend went this past weekend. He shot a pretty big one with his Winchester model 70 in 300 WSM using 180gr. Winchester Failsafe ammo. He shot it in the shoulder and it went right down. Like I said I've never hunted them before but I want to use my 444, thats why I bought it (and for black bear). Thanks for the help!!!
