Sorry IG we will just need to disagree.  I have seen to many "end of the country as we know it" proclamations.  I am living thru my second primer shortage, although this time everything is short the last time it was just primers.  It seems everytime there is a change in the party in the Whitehouse, the other side declares the "end of freedom"  so far we have been lucky, I expect it to continue at least thru my lifetime.

Sorry IG we will just need to disagree.  I have seen to many "end of the country as we know it" proclamations.  I am living thru my second primer shortage, although this time everything is short the last time it was just primers.  It seems everytime there is a change in the party in the Whitehouse, the other side declares the "end of freedom"  so far we have been lucky, I expect it to continue at least thru my lifetime.

Surely, we will have to disagree then.  Speaking of the United states alone, the degradation in just the last 30 years is remarkable.  How often has it been in our US history, that an administration felt secure in reaching out to destroy an entire religious community, including men, women and children.  I know such complete slaughters were ordered by God thousands of years ago, as shown in the Old Testament; but the Clintons are not yet gods, so far as I can see! 
  I will not even consider the egregious things which were engineered by the Obamanation fiasco.  ..But I will just consider the last year..how's that ?
  If you consider a primer shortage as the worst crisis of the last few years, I rather wonder just what perspective  you are observing from.
  During the last 365 days, + or - ... many of our formerly held freedoms have been politically assaulted and raped, in the Democrat's quest to kill our constitution.
 
     Let us test your view of the history of our nation....even back to the signing of our Bill of Rights!

   1) When in our history, has sacking and burning of a major city been referred to by that city's mayor, as a "summer of love"?

   2) Tell us a previous time when we were ordered by elected officials, to wear a face mask everywhere we go?
   
   3) When in the history of the United states, when we go out to eat at our favorite diner, have we been required by the government to beg..saying essentially,"Mother may I " ?

   4) When in our history, did candidates for federal office, promise to attack Christianity, take our guns, limit free speech, encourage illegal entry, and help terrorist nations...and STILL get elected?

   5) When did the several candidates of one party, all ignore or try to justify the rioting even then, going on in cities across the country.

  6) When in our past, were children denied school attendance, in a wholesale manner?  I lived through the polio scorge of the 1940s &1950s..even contracted polio.  Schools did not close, and this was a virus which most often attacked children.  In fact theb original name for polio was "infantile paralysis" !

  7) ...And have you even noticed the racism, anti-semitism and plain bigotry of a certain party, and they STILL got elected?

  just thebnplethora of freedom limiting legislation that the Democrats promise to pass should scare the bejeebers out of any reasonably bright person.

  9) ...And when was the last time we saw 10 candidates for president from one party, by show of hands, say that we American citizens should provide FREE health care for all who can manage to sneak into our country?

  10) I submit that Americans have not seen such egregious restrictions of common rights, since old King George III was calling our shots for us !
