Bought a 12ga O/U, "Pointer Arista" off Gun Broker..Got it Last night...

Never heard of Them Before,  But out of the Box It Looks Good....If it ever stops Rainin....Will see how She Shoots...

That Arista name kinda, sorta, maybe sounds familiar. Is it an Italian made gun or is it made somewhere else like Turkey?

Ya got pictures to show us?

What use will you put it to? Skeet, sporting clays, trap?

Made in Turkey...Had the Hots for an O/U...This was about the Only Thing in My Price Range...

No Idea How to Post a Picture...

Just Gonna shoot Clay Pigeons in the Back Yard... Picked up a Trius 1 step Thrower...I can Shoot Pigeons by Myself... Been havin a Ball with That Thing!

Made in Turkey. Rebranded Tristar. I didn't do a lot of research but that's what I'm hearing. I'm not an AR snob because I can't notice the difference between a $400 AR and a $1800 AR but I can in an over/under in those price ranges. More so in durability than fit and feel. I haven't shot one and they may be great but until they prove the test of time I'll hold off.

Orerancher I must have been typing while you posted. The price is right let us know how it shoots. Probably last forever for back yard shooting but I shoot (did shoot) 5000 to 10000 targets a year in trap league, registered targets and chicken shoots. Enjoy the new shotgun just keep shooting.

I had a great aunt named Arista.

I hear tell that an o/u is easier to hit with and I also hear that Turkey makes some very good quality firearms.
But, I still love the looks of a s/s.
Old fashioned I guess.

They are making some pretty nice shotguns in Turkey these days. I've owned a few in the past. I know just the kinda shooting you are talking about and have done plenty of that also.

I've also shot skeet, trap and sporting clays both for fun and for competition.

Well, It stopped Rainin for a bit Saturday Morning, Stepped out with the New Gun..

25, Remington 'Gun Club' Hulls with 7/8oz of #7 and 21 dead Clay Pigeons later...

Say what Ya will...I really like My Cheap little Turkish Shotgun! :)

Glad you like it. Not bad shooting either but generally it's the indian not the arrow that accounts for that. Can I still use that phrase or is it racist now? ;D
