Nothing I would listen to or
classify as " country " music,  although
I realize I'm definitely in the minority in
the 21st century.
I don't know for sure, but I can't remember
the last time my truck radio was tuned to
anything other than WBAP 820
I turned it on earlier today when I stopped
by the grocery store to pick up a few things.
Can't remember the last time I even turned
it on before that

Started to listen to Bill Mack on WBAP Ft Worth Dallas when I was a youngster. Bill was not only a great DJ,but a pretty good song writer as well. He wrote Blue, the song recorded by LeAnne Rimes, and Drinking Champagne, done by several including George Strait. That was back when country music still sounded like country music....Not country RAP.

lots of what we called rock back in the day like the eagles ect would be considered country today. I went from rock to country for about 10 years for the last couple years i got back into the old 70s rock. Even pay for sirrus radio so i can get the classic vinyl station. Over the last 5 years country has merged to much with bs like rap and many of the newer singers are liberals. Plus the classics bring me back to thoughts of the good old days when i was full of piss and vinegar.

I'm another S/XM suscriber. We listen to it in our suv and I have it on my phone so I can blutooth it to the radio in my jeep. Broadcast radio is something I don't listen to in my area anymore. CW, hip-hop and what I refer to as whiney- pop are all that is available. We had one classic rock station and last year they advertised they were changing their format and it would no longer be rock your grandpa listens to. They were right and this grandpa scratched them off his list only a few minutes after the switch took place. We were around as kids when rock and roll got started and we listen to the 50's and 60's channels a lot. It does bring back those piss and vinegar days. Ah, the sound quality back then. AM radio that you couldn't listen too in a thunderstorm or driving beside an electrical line with noise on it. one speaker, and a tone control. I still remember hearing my first hi-fi radio, a Telefunken that an older friend bought.

I'll still listen to folks like Miranda Lambert, whose about as country as it gets, but resort to the  Hag and others similar for real country.

Most of the songs are like modern Christian music, they sound like the same song.

God's Country sounded like country music, while Tennessee  Whiskey reminded me of 70's country/blue grass rock you used to hear on the alternative/blues/ hard rock stations on Sunday when they would mellow out the play list.

I like all country music, except for the rap crap or the liberal ones. We have a country oldies station near here, it's pretty good. Spans about 30 years including the 90s.
