I am getting a Marlin 1895 in 45/70 in the upcoming weeks. I will sight the gun with the iron, and sometime probably put on a scope. (1X5, 2X7).
In the mean times, it is worth swapping out the Marlin supplied irons, and replace them with something. Be interested to know what me and the gun can do "naked" before the scope.
Any and all suggestions are welcome.
