Two Utah parents have been arrested and charged with sexually abusing their young children for years after claiming they were giving them tutorials in "sex education."

The husband, 35, and wife, 39, were charged on Monday with six counts of sodomy on a child and two counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child, as well as 11 other charges. Eight charges are felonies.
The couple's young daughters told investigators that the abuse began five years ago when they were 7 years old and living in Salt Lake County.
They claimed they came home one day from school and found their parents naked in bed, KSL.com reported.

"We are going to do some education with you guys, sex education," the couple told two of their girls, according to court documents.
Investigators said it was from that point that the sexual abuse began. A third daughter claimed her father offered her alcohol and encouraged her to have "adult fun time" with her parents.
The 14-year-old initially said no but later gave in because she believed her parents would want what was best for her, according to court documents.
The charging papers also include allegations that the couple repeatedly had sex with each other in front of their children.

The names of the parents were not published by KSL.com to protect the identities of the children, whom investigators said have been sexually abused and tormented for years.
