I got my shot yesterday at about 1730.
About 1930 I started having chills, so I went to bed.
About 2100 it changed to a low grade fever.  99.0 to 99.5
slept till 0845 this morning, kinda weak but okay I think.

   I'm glad you enjoy the crowds being pampered. Went on one and only one. But it was a good one to Alaska. Just too many people. Anyway good luck. And have to add after a year of this fake crap with the goofy face masks also its kinda hard taking covid seriously.

Crowds are fine in the theater and dining room.
Sometimes we order room service and eat on our balcony and enjoy the water going by.
So crowds don’t bother us.
You see, Golden one, people are different.  And, we will continue to wear our masks and wipe with Clorox wipes when we are out and about.

OK last thing about it. I was just thinking about a thread I read asking if people got their covid shot and you specifically boasted you would get one if someone held a gun to your head. Guess the wife found a loaded gun eh ?

If I'm not mistaken, J&J was either not out yet or was very new.
And I would not have taken the double dose vaccine.  When you have reactions to those things you have to be selective.
And golden one, I really hope you do not get covid.  I understand it can be quite severe at times.
And, I'm only guessing here, but if I saw you on the street there in AZ, I'd bet that you'd have on a mask.
And if not, since nearly ALL stores require them, does your wife have to buy your bullets for you??

My other half is scheduled to get one, do not know what type but UTI , urinary  tract infection, is a problem for her, not some pissant virus.
It came within hours of killing her a few years back.
I have found from not just her, that , THAT, is a serious problem for older women; from experience, a woman who has one will not know it and can just suddenly pass out.

As a matter of fact she does. Don't bother her any. She's like you, masks don't bother her one bit. And thank you for the Golden one comment. Made my day. And I do have to say you're wrong about me and the mask thing. I don't do them. I do use the hand sanitizer and wash my hands like any good American like you. Good luck on your poke. All the stores and restaurants in Minnesota have signs up telling you , you have to wear a mask, but half the people ignore them. The stores say nothing about it. The sign is for looks.

Can't find any Lysol spray, or 409 anymore. I thought it was due to hoarding but the store told me they just aren't getting them anymore from they're suppliers. Even though they have been on back order for months now. To bad they both were good household products.

   Must be a local thing this area has plenty of both. Only shortage here is still ammo for the common calibers. Plenty of guns also. And yes my better half will be buying bullets. I'll take my chances without the government mandated poke.
