Winter strikes again
« on: March 05, 2004, 01:55:34 AM »
Well our first march snow storm has begun.Wet heavy(heart attack) snow.
I have been out a couple times already this morning. The branches on my birch tree are weighted down and touching the ground.I expect we will lose a lot of branches ,and I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see power and phone lines go.I hope the rest of you are enjoying winters end.

We're having the big melt here. Lots of snow and ice for it to work on though. Lots of rain coming over the weekend.  :D

Sent it all north to the UP. Just soaking rains here, which is unusual.  It's eating up the snow pretty good. I've had enough snow, so I'm enjoying it!

Geeze!  how did foxhopper know what was happening to me?  Last two checks I found 11 cats 6 coyotes waiting, all after a series of 3 snow happenings.  Can't wait til the AM 2 feet of snow fell last night and this morning on the mountians!

And another thing Boggy your feet are getting wet and you ain't trappin!  Now if you were a "real trapper"  (:P ) and went after what you, looking down your nose, refer to as "flea buses" you'd be in the shed skinnin

Did you know that Bog was at Woodstock but didnt hear any music as he was playing in a pond nearby chasing muskrats.  All his friends  said he was a child of nature :-D  ....But where he  went off  the straight and narrow path and became a trapper  is up to anyones imagination.....care to  expound on the subject   ya wet footed excuse for a beaver
