This is as much a spiritual battle as it is ideology if not more so on the spiritual side. We are at a turning/crisis point and the survival of our nation depends on motivating those in leadership to take a stand along with every concerned person in this country. It takes being involved and expressing your concerns to your state and federal reps. If you don't communicate to them your concerns and opinions how are they supposed to represent you? My post is not directed at anyone here but it is a simple statement of fact that the only way we accomplish anything in life is not by standing by the wayside and trusting to luck but being actively involved in trying to make a change.

Well each of them are to abide by and follow what our constitution says, and what they were sworn to do.  I would be perfectly okay if they did just that, but there isn't one of them that does that.  Calling and emailing them does not seem to work. It has to start in the voting booth, and now that it has become legal to steal elections. There isn't a  peaceful option left to change anything.

Did you miss the part where I said there would be turmoil and a power vacuum? Of course there will be issues with tribalism but not not all states are socialist dungholes, some of us will be just fine.

I get it. Families used to stick together , but educational institutions have encouraged these families to branch out and be more individualistic.
The topic under discussion could reverse those teachings, causing folks to put more emphasis in getting to know your family members  and your neighbors for security, and the common good.

My home state of Texas is being bombarded by liberals who want to divide us through our vote leanings, and even our culture.
Luckily, Greg Abbott is fighting back with lots of support.

Military technology I suspect would be the biggest threat, unless the federal government was in such turmoil it didn't deploy troops to areas.
Sherman rode into Atlanta on a horse. We're not that devolved technologically quite yet.

The cultural shift over the last 30 years has definitely changed the way families and neighbors viewed each other. There were a lot of houses on my street growing up and I pretty much knew everyone in my neighborhood, their names, kid's names, pet's names, etc. It's not like that anymore in most areas so I hear you, we would have to band together by neighborhood in order to survive a failure of the US.

Unfortunately Texas is going through what all good conservative states are dealing with, liberals fleeing the states they ruined. Liberalism is a mental disorder so these people can't use basic logic and figure out that voting for Democrats caused the situation they're in in the first place. New Hampshire has been fighting that fight for years now as well. We were once a solid red state in a sea of mostly blue New England states, now we're a purple state thanks to liberals moving in from the turd states they created nearby. The only thing that has saved us to this point is we have the largest legislature in the US even though we're a tiny state. Because of that all the rural areas are well represented.

Hopefully your governor can make a lot of positive changes while in office, the key is to make laws aimed at protecting everyone from these liberals while he's there. One thing New Hampshire is doing right now while we have a Republican governor, house and senate is there's a house bill that if it becomes law will actually punish cities and towns if they violate preemption laws and create their own gun control ordinances. For example, college towns like Durham where UNH is is run by liberals so they passed their own gun control at the town level which is against the law because of state preemption laws but they do it anyway because there are no consequences. This bill will financially penalize cities or towns or towns and also any law enforcement who try to enforce these unconstitutional laws.

If they keeping counting the votes they will. HR1 was written to ensure they will be able to keep counting the votes.

Glory of war will be short lived and death and mayhem would be the norm. If it came down to it throw out the keyboards and start listening to a country boy can survive like Hank says. We'll all need to survive. Average person would stand no chance against today's military. Unless they want us too. So back to the voting problem and what to do about it.

You mean the same military that hasn't been able to defeat a bunch of towel heads with AK-47's and IEDs over the last 20 years?

It's so nice of politicians to send our finest off to war and then tell them that they're allowed to use any techniques that would cause them to win.

I can't disagree with that.

I think this has been in the wood work for years. Just waiting for a chance to have ideal conditions to spring it. They know about all we can do is complain. They have the power to stomp out any kind of stand we make because theyve made it about impossible to organize anything big enough to stop them. They have the national guard and the military. Any start to organizing would be trampled and called another gun crazy redneck insurrection and be snuffed out imediately. they can do anything they want and that was proven yesterday with them going after the supreme court. Nothing is out of bounds for them and they dont give a dammed what any american thinks of there power grab and especially some conservative. What will stop it? Probably russia or china. Biden made a big mistake threatening russia with sanctions. Putin is looking for an excuse to make an example out of him and china is locked and loaded. Im more conserned right now that we may need to learn a new language then i am that there going to make me paint flowers on my goverment issued electric toyota van.
Gee would not want to threaten Russia or China...
