I love the Moody Blues. I like Ride My See Saw where the whole band sings lead together.

They were unique, even for that time where there was so many creative bands.

I saw Robin Trower live one time, he was incredible. Some of the best live guitar tone I've ever heard.

Well, now they have been mentioned. Your free to start your own thread about them. I did like some of thier music. I Still have an orginal vinyl copy of Dark side of the Moon. But I wasn't smoking weed back then. I liked stairway to heaven, and the immigrant song.

I burned up two 8-tracks of Grand Funk Live, bought it again on CD, and would still blare that out the truck windows - if the CD player in the truck had not crapped out.

“Tuesday Afternoon”....my Personal MB favorite.
Nice to see Procul Harum remembered.....”A Whiter Shade of Pale”.....what a great piece.
Mentioning the late Ginger Baker as well as Eric Clapton, how could Jack Bruce get left out? Cream reassembled.
I remember seeing grafitti painted on doors in the high school back in the early 1970s......”Clapton is G-d”.

Robin Trower was the guitarist for Procol Harem.

Saw Pink Floyd at Saratoga Perforing Arts Center during the Dark Side of the Moon tour.
Can't remember too many Moody Blues hits aside from White Satin. From the same era i liked Procol Harem. (Tales of Brave Ulysses)  i thought Ten Years After, the Cricklewood Green album was pretty good, too.

Hey TM, do you remember a band called Euclid by any chance? They were really popular in New England and also played in NY and Quebec in the late 60's early 70's.

DB73....
Don't really remember Euclid. Were they Quebecers?
.
.TM7

They were from Aroostook county Maine. They were originally called the Cobras then switched to King Cobras then Lavenhook before Euclid. They were big on the college scene at the time but never made it outside the northeast. My father was good friends with the vocalist. The vocalist ended up getting killed at a gig in Quebec in 1974, he got shot by a biker gang.
