From some of the comments I have seen from Guzzi on the other site. He is not the same Guzzi that commented here years ago. He always had left leaning comments, Now he is a full blown radical leftist.

That may be true about Guzzi, or not. I asked him one time if his political stance was based on his religious beliefs. He said yes. So I just pretty much left him alone after looking into his church’s teachings.

I did like his choice of Bike. And the pictures he posted. And he flew a glider, that sounded interesting.

Of course he did. But so do all the Texas/NM farmers. Our goverment has bought them and trained them just like welfare recipients have been. When you get to 4th and 5th generation welfare families they believe that’s their right. So the children follow the career path of their parents.

Agreed, but most don't get on sites like this and complain that it's not enough. They don't want you to know they even get them.

I noticed that too, he always leaned left even years ago but also had some small government leanings that I found myself agreeing with him on. He seems to have gone way left these days.

I am following some here. The old site has turned very toxic, mostly due to a certain mod. Most here certainly don't agree with many of my political views but most here may have disagreed with me but not launched multiple personal attacks against me. I try to be me here and not project something I am not. My faith as my church faith is centered around the Beatitudes from the sermon on the mount. If that is liberal so be it.
Some ask why someone like me would be on a site like this. I initially came here due to not being able to get my .243 Handi to shoot worth a crap and then kind of got sucked up in the political threads. If one closes their mind to opposing views one's mind then shrinks IMHO. If I seem to come across more liberal than before you can blame it on Trump as he ruined any little positive image of conservatism that I may have had.
I still would like to have a coffee or beer face to face with some here anyway.

As in the past, we're gonna agree on some issues, and be polar opposites on others.
Being able to separate the disagreements from the agreements seems difficult for some, and inability to move through a topic  to the next one without carrying attitude from the last.
This revival of the original site, seems like a resurrection of something that was better. This is better,  with members that are not better, just old men with opinions, and some who wear their feelings on their sleeves, and some who seem not to have any.

Me? I have NO use for a socialist liberal or opinions of the same. If someone wants to argue the issues im all about it. But on the other site I cant get a single one of them to argue the real issues. Lets debate the border crisis. The pipeline being shut down, teachers who wont work and get full pay siting on a beach somewhere. Lets talk russia and china teaching there students math and science while ours teach critical race theory!!  Lets talk him bashing trump for inciting violence when he not only stands by people in his own party that blatantly did it. Lets talk his total inept way hes hanging out to dry our long time allies in the middle east Lets talk him backing coumo whitmer and newsome who were responsible for killing people while they dined out in fancy restraints. Lets talk his lack of action when antifa and black lives matter destroyed citys. Lets talk about what ever happened to the hunter biden investigation. Lets talk about hard drives from voting precincts just vanishing into thin air when even people with home computers back up files and the fbi seems to be able to get data even from a computer that was lit on fire.
