Kubota makes good equipment.
It's all really high in this area, even
used and well used.
Around here, you have to be really
careful buying used equipment because
many people using it don't really
know what they're doing and will
screw up the hydraulics and PTO
so you have to be really diligent
when shopping
I agree, I spent the last few years looking at used tractors and it made me realize just how many idiots there are selling used tractors. That was why I ended up going new. I don't have a lot of land so I didn't need the bells and whistles, its primary function is running a snowblower and a 3 point sander so I bought the most stripped down Kubota L2501 you could possibly get. I paid cash and got a sweet deal because it was a leftover that nobody wanted (because it was 2WD with no loader) and I knew the salesman from working with him at that same dealership 30 years ago.
Yeah, wise move
Lots of junk for sale at Cadillac prices.
Most of what I've seen were what people
bought that salesmen talked them into
90 % of the people around my area would
have been better served with a quality
lawn tractor and not a big ag tractor
just to mow grass on their 4 acres.
The once- every- two- years bigger job
can be hired out and not have to have
the expense and upkeep of a tractor
and implements
