Skunks. From what I understand will not spray in a confined area as they don’t want to wear there own stink. Unlike a liberal they won’t crap in there own back yard. I have had a few encounters and give them the respect they are due. Not counting my youthful exuberance of course. But so far never had to deal with there spray. Some keep them for pets and with there glands removed are suppose to be very loving pets. Much better than a cat and are known as woodpussys...

I ran around with a guy that had a pet skunk and he would bring him along sometimes when we were just riding around doing what young single guys do. The skunk was fine after dark. Friendly and liked to be petted. During the daytime he would crawl under the front seat where it was fairly dark. Since they are nocturnal I wonder if the light bothered him or he just thought it was his bed time. My friend finally gave him to a married couple.

I have never been sprayed by a skunk. If I meet up with one I just let him go about his business and I go about mine. I have never encountered a rabid skunk either.

I'm the same way. Skunks have been in north America way longer than me. I have shot them in the past, but not for any real reason.

The other day I saw a link to a bear pepper spray device, I don't remember what it was called or where it was.  It fired what was in effect a paint ball that was filled with pepper spray.  At distances up to 66 feet the ball would burst and spread the pepper in a 12 foot radius.  The balls would still break at greater distances but would not spread as far.   Maybe if the neighbor's pussy returned home drenched in pepper spray, they would start keeping it closer to home.

That sounds almost as fun as cracker shells (a 12g shotgun cartridge that launches a firecracker.)

JMHO-  I'm not enthusiastic about
relocating pests since it's about 99.9%
temporary, then you have to do it again

That's true more often than not.

The live trap is very effective, and the varmint is put down while in the trap, so no commotion, or slip ups.
Plus, if I decide to just relocate the critter I can without harm to myself, or the animal.

A trash can 3/4 full of water is another quiet way to dispatch a caged critter.  It's good for rodents anyway...

I've been told that drowning is quick, but it doesn't look quick. It looks frantic, and panic filled.
I don't think I could do that, even to a cat.
When I have had to put one of my dogs down, I've always dug'em a grave, sat down on a stool and petted'em and talked to'em.
When they looked away, or closed their eyes the little Browning was quick, with no suffering.
Its hard,  but they were in a familiar place, with no strangers handling them.
I think even stray cats deserve a quick humane put down.

If you are going to kill something, even a rat or a mouse, do it the favor of a quick death. To drown an animal falls under the definition of sadistic IMO as does poisoning with antifrreeze.

I don't know if drowning is as bad as poisoning, as drowning takes minutes, while poison can take hours, or even days.
I just don't have the stomach for either.
Giving a cat a bath I'm told is hazardous for the giver, but the panic, and frantic fight not to drown would for me be difficult to induce.

There are some animals that should be killed on sight or with evidence they are present such as rats, mice, and pigeons but I'm not going to resort to torture to get it done. Dead right there trap or a bullet does it for me.

Agreed, I have years ago put rat poison out in my barn and shop, but I didn't have to watch.
I admittedly would again if there weren't any mouse and rat eaters around.

Wow, I can conduct a cat control program a lot cheaper than the $350.00 price tag on that rig.

I did not look at the price.  Use a live trap and a can of pepper spray.

The pepper spray is for just before you release it near it's home, so maybe mom will pepper on her from her pussy   cat.

I like that Idea. Maybe some epoxied glitter. I think the pest itself would never come near you again... A swift kick in the ass on the way out would not hurt either...

LOL, It don't have to be complicated, or political, to be entertaining. Every day life and "little life issues can be entertaining.
