I agree. Just like lumber prices. I only buy what I absolutely need. If others did the same the supply and demand madness would end...
There are a lot of folks in my area that
seem to want to buy scarce things just
for the halibut. I see a bunch that will
pay whatever it takes to have something
that is hard to obtain I would guess just
for the bragging rights.
I set my limits for reloading components
quite a long time ago, and if things don't
improve, I'll find enough stuff to load
the brass I've got, and shoot enough to
stay sharp and check scope zero and to
hunt with. All my extra reloading stuff
will go up for sale.
FWIW I've known several men that
only hunted and would buy 2 boxes
of rifle ammo every year, check zero
with one box or part of a box, and
they didn't have any problems
