Picked up a NIB 7.62X39 at a Gunshow Saturday...Didn't Think there were any New Ones still around... :)

NIB and rare too. Even then, some
of the prices people ask are unreasonable
IMO.  It's still an H&R and they forget
that's a factor.  I've had to pay near
suggested retail before, but wouldn't
go awy more than that

Good find!... always wanted a 7.62x39! Even if you over paid, it'll pay for itself in cheap plinking ammo

Is there such a thing still as cheap 7.62X39?
I haven't bought any in many years.
Last I looked at was probably 10 years ago
and it was 5 some odd plus tax for 20.
I bought all mine when a box was less
than $2.00 out the door for 20, and cases
were less.  I still have a case or 2

The one I got is the only H&R that I have shot clover leafs with in 2 differant range trips shooting 123g American Eagle (Federal) ammo . I was going to reload for it but with them results I never got around to it . I did find some Lapua ammo that I bought mostly for the brass 5 boxes of 30ea shoots just as well. Was going to use it to shoot deer up in WI but I never got back and it got put in the safe. May be going up on the sale block in a month or so. I did try the cheap Wolf stuff and it would not shoot... just had to try even though there was much info out at the time. Congrats on the find. Kurt
