Some good dancers in the video. That is one talent I was never given, and I never liked dancing. Maybe because I couldn't dance. Although my dancin got a bit better after half a dozen beers or so.  ;D

I am apparently bereft of rhythm, beat, or what ever it takes... but I just can't understand folks letting sound take them over...physically and seemingly mentally.

this is more  a criticism of myself, than of the participants..but it just looks like so much jumping around, to me.

To better picture it as I see it, try turning the sound off and  pretend there is no music, while viewing the video.

Just imagine..folks acting like this without the aid of music..

..Again, my fault, not theirs...but it does look like they are 'losing it', for a period of time.   ;) ;D

BTW: That is a precious little redhead..

I'm not Dee but Monahans is a city in Ward county, TX located about 100 miles south of where I live. Not being able to to remember all the TX counties from TX history in school I asked google and it didn't find one.

The thing I remember about Texas as a small boy was it took forever it seamed like to drive across in a old 37 Plymouth in 1944. Another thing I remember it gets very hot in August. Back years ago on the Bob Hope show he told a joke about traveling by car from the east coast to California he said most states you could cross in a half day to a day but it was 4 days to cross Texas.

Like when I lived just outside of Beaumont, near the Louisiana border.  Somebody wrote me, saying. "why don't you drop over to El Paso to see so-and-so.  Yeah, drop over, something like 1,000 miles..   ;)  ;D

I used to laugh when watching Chuck Norris play a Texas Ranger on TV. He was based in Dallas I believe snd they would run over to San Antone for lunch.   :o It is a long way across Texas and almost as far up and down and most people have no conception of just how far it is.

Another TV boo boo was on the series Dallas when Bobby went out to Dawson County to look over some oil leases. There were some sherrifs cars in the scene and they got that right, Dawson County Sherrif' Department logo on the sides of the cars. Lamesa is the county seat and what they got wrong was how it's pronounced in Texas. It is not lah masa but luh mesa, one word, long e. I was born and raised in Dawson County.

Several years ago my late wife and I were on a trip and stopped at The Texas Ranger museum there on I 35 at Waco and spent about 2 hours looking at everything. Very interesting.

Once, on a visit to Florida, i stopped by a convenience mart in De Land, Florida. Being a curious sort, i asked the checkout lady for the proper pronunciation of the name.

She told me that if you are a snowbird or recent resident  you might say de-LAND, but if you are a lifelong resident, you may pronounce it DEE-land.

Don't know how accurate that was, but it gave me a quick chuckle...
