Where have I been?

I just learned that Connie Smith died back in the first part of this year I don't remember seeing anything anywhere on the news about her death.

anything regarding it on any of

I did a search and that is right she was 84. I had looked some time back as I thought she was older than Marty and she was 8 years older than him. But I see on her bio it says she was 17 years older than him. I watch his show on Saturday evening on RFDTV and they of course are old reruns but I would have thought they would have posted in memory of her. I will have to re check but it was either February or March of this year. I was looking at songs on YOU tube and her funeral popped up but I did not watch it. I rechecked on the web and they say she died n Feb. 20th 2021

I did look at yoofloob, and there
were 3 connie Smith funerals,  one
was a bleck woman and they were
at a black shouting church. The other
was a woman by the name of connie
Smith, but definitely not the singer.
One other was a catholic or some
orthodox service and maybe a dozen
or less in attendance. I don't think that
was her either even though they didn't
mention any details of the departed's
life.
Yoofloob is notorious for having these
videos with " The sad life and sorrowful
ending of XXXX so-and-so blah blah.  ."
I noticed one of those for Marty Stuart
while I was perusing the foo foo

She was just on television an hour
ago discussing her life and career
although I don't know when the
interview took place.
She did specifically mention that
she was recovering from C19

Still.  . . I don't know
