   When I posted the story from The Beast, it coud be read in it's entirety..it was only later that they came on demanding that one join their site...which I won't do either !

  Anytime I run into a story that interests me, if the link offered doesn't work...just go search with Google or DuckDuckGo, and there are usually other venues where the same story can be found.

5 generations ago these kinds of weapons weren't too smart and had a human controller.
Today I assume they're smart and with highly remote operation or even stand alone devices relying on chipset processors and communication I/O. But that's an assumption on my part, but if so they're hackable.
Anyway, what's the strategic advantages of these kinds of remote killing machines?. And who makes them?
