"I should have worded that differently, by saying some churches, because I know there are still a lot of churches that follow God's word. On the other hand I do believe there are many that have become entertainment centers to bring in money. Instead of telling people the truth, they are telling people what they want to hear. A nation 80 million so called Christians in it. Why do so many church goers vote for democrats, and why do we have so many God hating baby butchers elected into power? Maybe there are too many pastors not telling people the truth."

Now ^^^that^^^ I can agree with whole heartedly ! The tragic thing is that we have been warned against such things repeatedly in the very Bible that most claim to honor !
Without listing verses, how often are we warned of those who "tickle ears", .."false prophets' and "false teachers". ...Church services are not supposed to be a "bread and circuses" event !
I see no place in scripture where Jesus ever spoke about Christians should be rich! In fact he warned us about the "love of money', taught about Lazarus and the rich man..
Jesus also taught about the rich man who gathered such wealth, tore down his old barns, to build bigger ones to store his fortune! He was called a fool..because he would die that night..so he should be seeing to his soul !
Nothing wrong with prospering, but it has no place in Christian worship.
