George Foreman

I always liked him and his style. Ali was a good boxer butt he bored me with his defensive style. Not taking away from him. I just did not like watching him (hide) box... George Foreman was a better fighter IMO... If it were in the streets with no ref and gloves. George would have used him as a mop...

I always liked Foreman also. I certainly liked his character better than Ali. He was just more of a humble guy. I believe too in a street fight with no rules Foreman would have kicked Ali's butt.

OH YEAH, loved to see George box. Most powerful SHORT rt hand I ever saw. BACK THEN, Foreman and Larry Holmes were my favorites. I have a letter from Larry that was a reply to me just before the Cooney fight. Had it not been for alis dominance there were several heavyweights that would have been good champions, but just didn't quite have enough to get past him. CHARLIE.  ;D ;D
