With the threat from growing as most nations build space capability, President Trump saw the need for a space force to be developed, so he set it up, and appointed a capable leader for it.
That leader was organizing the new arm to be effective in counteracting everything from an EMP attack on out.
Sadly, the Biden administration fired him, and replaced him with someone who apparently sees the main thrust of the new Space Force, not so much to counter any potential attack from space, but rather to combat "racism".
