In Praise of Gato Feo #1
« on: July 15, 2021, 09:53:34 AM »
I’ve not found anything that works better.  In the Florida July heat, there’s no migration to the powder. I’ve also used it with good results with temps in the teens.  I’ve never “fouled” out a revolver cylinder and after a long session, no hard fouling is in the barrel. Spectators are amazed at how clean the barrel looks after extended shooting.  Fouling is goopy in consistency and easily cleaned.  Also use it in my BP cartridges with same results

The lube recipe is in the sticky entitled, "Proper use of a cap and ball revolver". I need to make a new batch myself.
