1895 Dovetail Sight blank
« on: March 07, 2004, 10:42:48 AM »
I removed the factory sight in favor of a peep. I have heard that someone sells a small wedge to fill the dovetail sight slot. Can anyone tell me where I can get on for my rifle. Thanks

Marlinman- Thanks for the info. Sent you an email.

Bestlever- That sounds like a pretty loaded down scooter.... I actually have taken my Valk dove hunting.  A breakdown shotgun case straps to the back very nicely.  A limit of "little gray birds" doesnt take up much room either!

Yea, I've gone on some hunting trips on my old 1976 Goldwing Ltd, and it was pretty loaded down too!

I tried to find the sight blank insert on the Brownell's website and could not find it.  Can you point me to it with a link?  Thanks

VR,
I couldn't help asking based on your nickname, did you participate in the B-70 program?

VR, was thumbing my Williams catalog this weekend, and they have dovetail blanks for $5 also.  I don't recall seeing them online, but it was in printed version.
